What stays in your browser
Your lesson answers and job-check ticks stay in the open page. Reloading clears them. RanchWell does not receive those answers or ticks.
We keep your analytics choice in local storage—a small setting in this browser. It is not a cookie sent with every page request. If your browser cannot save the setting, your choice still applies to the current page.
An older RanchWell quiz or checklist may have left saved progress in this browser. Clearing this site’s data in your browser settings removes that progress and your analytics choice. Reports will then be on again until you reject them.
What is sent to Vercel
Vercel hosts RanchWell. When you load a page, Vercel receives connection details, including your IP address and request information, to serve and operate the site. Read Vercel’s privacy notice.
When analytics is on, we use two Vercel services to understand visits and page performance:
- Web Analytics reports pages viewed, referring sites, browser and device details, and approximate location. Vercel says it uses a temporary visitor identifier derived from the request, discarded after 24 hours, without third-party cookies. Web Analytics privacy details.
- Speed Insights reports page speed and responsiveness, along with page, browser, device, network-speed, and country information. Speed Insights privacy details.
We use these reports to see which pages people visit and where the site needs work. RanchWell does not send lesson answers or job-check ticks as analytics events.
For families learning together
Young readers can explore with a parent or trusted adult. No personal details are needed for the guides or lessons. Keep names, contact details, and private ranch information to yourself.
